In-House Technology

Our state-of-the-art surgical center meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) standards to ensure your complete safety throughout your treatment.

Cone Beam Scanner (CBCT)
Our office is equipped with the most advanced technology available, including a cone beam CT scanner. Ours is one of very few practices in the region that have this machine, the latest in 3D dental imaging. The scanner renders pristine, detailed 3D images of the jaw and mouth areas that help us perform dental implant placement. It enables us to visualize both hard and soft tissue areas for a more thorough examination and better preparation for the procedure. This machine uses a fraction of the radiation of conventional CT equipment, so it’s safer for you, too!

Dental Laser
No scalpels, no drills, no sutures. That’s all possible with laser dentistry. We frequently trade in our scalpels and drills to use a gentler and more modern alternative—a dental laser. Our BIOLASE dental laser combines laser light energy with a stream of water to more efficiently and more effectively offer soft tissue treatments like gum disease therapy and frenectomies. If you’re interested in receiving a laser dentistry alternative to your treatment, we’ll let you know if it’s possible.
2
Intraoral Camera
This innovative tool provides many benefits in a device about the size of a toothbrush. With it, we can get close-up views of the inside of your mouth and easily identify any issues that may be developing. This device also gives you a view into your own dental health. Instead of looking into a mirror to see inside your mouth, you can look at a television monitor to see exactly what we’re seeing. We can also use it to make impressions of your teeth without sticky, unpleasant paste. Due to the camera’s compact size, you’ll experience no discomfort while we’re using it.
3
Plasma-Rich Growth Factors (PrGF)
Occurring naturally your blood, PrGF can facilitate a quicker, smoother healing process after procedures. We collect these growth factors by taking a small amount of blood from you, placing the sample in a centrifuge, and spinning it. This separates the components of your blood, allowing us to isolate and harvest the growth factors. We then introduce them in a concentrated form into your treatment sites following bone grafting and other procedures. The growth factors soon form a protective layer over the treatment areas, similar to the way a scab forms over a cut to aid in healing.
